Highlights of school life
Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds.
It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Lunar New Year marks the beginning of the Lunar New Year and is a time of joy, family gatherings, and cultural traditions.
This year honors the Year of the Horse, a symbol of energy, freedom and strength.

"Our family has had a wonderful experience with Darcy Road Public School. My eldest child attended the school from Kindergarten through to Year 6 and graduated two years ago. We had only moved to Australia from overseas about a month before he started, so naturally it was a big transition for him. The teachers and staff showed incredible patience, care, and understanding while helping him settle in. Their support made the transition seamless, and by the time he finished Year 6, it was hard to believe he had once been the child who struggled to adjust.
My younger child has also been part of the school since Kindergarten and is now in her sixth year there. She still looks forward to going to school every day and truly loves being part of the community.
We are very grateful to the teachers and staff for creating such a supportive and welcoming environment for our children. Darcy Road Public School will always hold a special place in our family’s journey"
