2020 Semester 1 Kindergarten STEAM unit.
'Living World'.
Last term, Kindergarten were learning about the needs of Living Things. As part of our STEAM unit, we made a habitat diorama for a farm animal.
Students had to create a habitat for a farm animal which included everything a 'living thing' needs to survive - air, sunlight, food, water and shelter.
This project also linked in well with our Farm Animal units for Literacy where we learnt about a different animal each week.
