On Wednesday the 7th of June, our 3-6 Dance group performed at the Synergy Dance Festival. Synergy Dance Festival has been running successfully for the past 30 years, providing dance performance opportunities for Kindergarten to Year 12 NSW public school students in a professional theatre environment.
Our students represented our school proudly as they took to the stage to perform their choreographed dance in the auditorium in Penrith Panthers. For many of the students this was their first time performing to an audience of this size and they were very excited for this opportunity. The students performed incredibly well and should be very proud of their efforts.
We were also lucky enough to have two of our students successfully audition to be comperes during the performance. They spoke confidently as they announced performances from different schools. Well done to Satkeerat and Megha for representing Darcy Road Public School so well.
We will be performing again on the 14th of June and the 3-6 Dance Group are so excited to have another opportunity to perform on stage.
